Ukrainian forces are getting a new helper, a locally made robotic battlefield scout called GNOM (“Gnome”). The small machine will stealthily reconnoiter Russian positions and provide fire support with a machinegun, according to its maker, a company called Temerland that’s based in Zaporizhia. Gnomes versus ‘Orcs’ may sound like fantasy, but the first robots will enter service next week, the company said in a statement.

In April, a car, a diesel generator and a turret were purchased and handed over to Ukrainian Military Forces. And also repaired a machine gun.

Innovative unmanned robotic platforms GNOME are designed to save and protect human lives, as well as be an effective tool of military actions – reconnaissance, patrol, offensive and defense.

The TEMERLAND company is raising funds for targeted technical assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

For defending Zaporizhzhia city and Ukraine TEMERLAND company is searching vehicles – jeeps and pickups, which will be modified with remote and autonomous control, and – transferred to mobile groups of the Armed Forces, SRO and the National Guard.

On Monday, 28th of February, part of the TEMERLAND team recovered from the shock and scale of the Russian aggression against Ukraine and went to work to defend Zaporizhia city.
